Simultaneously grate and strain food with the Avanti® Food Mill. Ideal for pureeing fruit and cooked vegetables to a smooth, even consistency to create delicate sauces, mashed potatoes, wholesome baby food, soups and coulis. Light weight and portable, it is constructed from robust BPA free plastic and stainless steel. Included are three interchangeable stainless steel discs with different size perforations - coarse, medium and fine, to control your desired thickness and texture. The Food Mill works with the spring-loaded blade pressing the fruit or cooked vegetables through the perforated disk, extruding a smooth, dense puree and leaving most skins, pips and fibres behind. Easy to assemble and use, simply select the disc required, insert the blade plate and load food into the top of the mill and then turn the handle to create the desired effect. The easy-to-grip plastic knob on the crank handle turns the blade smoothly and easily. The featured serrated legs allow you to set the mill over a variety of pots or bowls making it convenient to use.

USE & CARE
1. Place selected disc in base of mill with coarse side facing upwards lining it up with the notches on the inside of the bowl.
2. Place the handle and rotating plate unit into the bowl by pushing down on rotating plate arm and compressing the spring.
3. Ensure that both ends of the rotating plate arm clip into the underside of the holes on the inside of the mill.
4. Place food in the mill and turn handle, this in turn will rotate the blade.
Wash thoroughly before first use
Clean disc with warm water and washing-up liquid
A soft washing-up brush may be helpful in removing food residue from discs
Rinse thoroughly.
Avoid abrasive cleaners and scourers when hand washing.
Wipe dry with a soft cloth
If the mill becomes soiled, put a few drops of biological washing powder in a bowl of hot water and leave the mill to stand overnight.
Wash and rinse well before each use.
