Barista Training


  Ever wanted to be a barista? Work in a bustling café? Impress friends with your home espresso machine or just learn a little more about the mysterious bean?

Our Napier store runs regular barista training evenings that cater to your requirements. Classes are small; generally two to three people, and are completely hands on practical work.

The in house trainer has more than twelve years instruction under her belt and has trained national competitors for the New Zealand barista championships.

Total Food Equipment barista courses are run over two weeknights, 6pm until 8pm. The first night is spent perfecting the espresso shot and the second night is spent learning how to steam beautiful, silky milk with which to make all the varieties of espresso served locally and around the world.
